From Script to Screen - Prop Design
In the brief, the prop I was given was an Egg. However, as rubber chicken's cannot lay eggs, in my story the chicken has 'adopted' three bouncy balls as her eggs. Her nest is inside an old box of party poppers, so the strips of coloured paper act like twigs in a real nest.
From Script to Screen - Initial Character Designs
This first sheet is my initial sketches, trying to figure out what I wanted my chicken to look like. I chose a combination of 4 & 6 and started designing the whole body. My favourite is number 2.
This is my initial idea for the character turn around. I used number 2 from above.
