I have finished modelling and texturing my scene. Here are some of the test renders I made to judge the lighting throughout the scene.
Above is my favourite part of the scene as I think that the colours and textures work well and reflect the style I've been aiming for in my animation.
Although most of the textures used in the scene are lamberts or blinns, I have made UV maps for some objects, including the staffroom sign and posters.

Printer start button, Staffroom sign, Coffee machine label, Donut texture, Photo texture, Poster, To do list.
Good stuff, Meg - see? All that heartache and stress IS worth it after all! :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks great Megan. Glad things are going well. I looked through your scene the other day and it all seems fine, there weren't any crazy models or shaders that were causing the slow down. As I said, keep stuff on layers and make sure history etc is clear. File size can often be a problem when scenes get big and the best way to handle them is to keep everything nice and organised.
